Joyce's Engagement Party

Joyce recently got engaged and had a party to celebrate. For her make up she wanted a smokey eye but not too dramatic. I used a charcoal in the crease and black eye shadow for lower liner and smudge/smoked it out to give it the smokey look. For the face I gave her glowy cheeks and nude lips. Here is the look (click on photo to enlarge and for better quality) :

Photography by Katie

A friend of mine, Katie, is an awesome photographer. She does a variety of sessions from couples, to babies, and even fun family potraits. She recently had a photo session for Leslie's engagement.

Leslie, who has officially become my make up MUSE (see previous pics here and here), asked me to do her make up for the shoot. You can check out the beautiful pictures on Katie's blog:

While you are there check out the rest of her pictures. She really is a talented photographer and possibly the sweetest person you will ever meet.

If you are in the South Florida and need photos or make up for a special occasion, please do not hesitate to contact Katie or myself.

Peach and Silver ...

Leslie was going to a wedding and was wearing this beeeaaauutiful peachy and silver dress. For her make up I used a peach on her lid and a soft brown in the crease for depth. Then for the lower liner I used a silver eye shadow for some pop. Since it was a night wedding I used black gel liner and a couple coats of mascara to intensify the eyes. The rest of the face I kept very soft and natural. She looked awesome! Here is the look:

Maria's Prom Night

Last night was Maria's prom and she asked me to do her make up. She was wearing a charcoal colored dress and wanted similars colors for her make up. I loved her dress, she looked gorgeous. Here is the look I came up with:

Smokey Emerald

This look was created using olives and greens with gold undertones. I used black eye liner and smudged it to intensify the eyes and paired it rosy cheeks and lips. This look will also be a great look for prom.
Here is what I came up with:
