Janet's Engagement Pics

Recently I had the pleasure of meeting Janet, who is such a sweetheart. She contacted me to do her makeup for her engagement photo session. It was a very early appointment so of course Claud forgets to take her camera. I have some teasers from the engagement session which came out beautiful! The photographer was Ivan Apfel. Here are some of my favorite pics (click the pic for better quality):

Cant wait for the wedding Janet, and this time I wont forget my camera ;)

The ladies learning the importance of blending:

Applying eyeliner with an angled brush

Finishing touches: curl and mascara

The graduates! They all looked beautiful, I was so proud LOL

I had so much fun. The ladies had a great time and learned a lot of cools tricks. Mission accomplished! I can't wait for the next party.

Teal Gun Metal

There is actually a funny story behind this look. I was suppose to have a bridal trial run but my appointment ended up being a no show. Since I had all my makeup out I decided to play with makeup on myself. I was playing around with different colors but nothing was working for me and I just wasn't getting inspired. Then my BF told me to do the colors I had on the shirt I was wearing. My first reaction was "yea right, what do you know?" Then he starts swatching different colors on my cheek that match my shirt, and surprisingly enough, it looked good! So with that said, here is the look me and my BF came up with lol (click on the pic for better quality):
